Society is flushed with imagery and representations that seduced and tricked us into thinking they’re real. Where is the line between the copy and its original and to what extend we declare the copy to be equal to the original?

This video installation shows an endlessly looped, moving image of a Baroque trompe-l’oeil painting that was filmed in Palazzo Rosso in Genoa, Italy. The movement of camera adds a perspective distortion and lifts the classical trompe-l’oeil painting into a modern, digital anamorphosis.
